Calliope founded the Executive Bird Council after determining that existing standards for produce quality, nutritional oversight, and pomegranate availability were insufficient.
As CEO, she provides strategic direction, oversees all produce inspections, and maintains the highest standards of excellence throughout the organization.
Known for her careful evaluations, strong opinions regarding fruit quality, and commitment to helping birds thrive, Calliope remains the highest-ranking member of the Council.

📋 Fergie
Chief Compliance Officer
Director of Human Performance Improvement
Fergie oversees compliance, transparency, and accountability throughout the Council.
She is responsible for evidence review, policy development, safety oversight, and maintaining organizational integrity.
Fergie believes that confidence should match the evidence and that proper documentation prevents future problems.

Rescue Ambassador
Director of Nut Acquisition
Chief Public Relations Officer
Piper serves as the Council’s primary product tester, public representative, and advocate for rescue birds everywhere.
Her story reminds us that every bird deserves compassion, opportunity, and the chance to thrive.
As Rescue Ambassador, Piper helps guide the Council’s commitment to supporting bird welfare, responsible ownership, and the organizations working every day to improve the lives of birds.

🐦 JB & Kiwi
The Chaos Department
JB and Kiwi are jointly responsible for activities that the Council has repeatedly requested they stop doing.
Their responsibilities include unauthorized inspections, alarm testing, surprise quality assurance reviews, and creating situations that require additional documentation.
The Chaos Department does not represent the official views of the Executive Bird Council.
Despite repeated requests, they continue to represent themselves.

The Executive Bird Council is supported by a small team of human staff responsible for transportation, facilities management, snack procurement, photography, website maintenance, and other tasks delegated by the Council.
While humans perform much of the administrative work, strategic decisions remain under the authority of the Council.
