Executive Bird Council Awards & Recognition Manual

Purpose

The Executive Bird Council Awards & Recognition Program exists to acknowledge exceptional achievements in nutrition, enrichment, welfare, education, stewardship, and service to birds.

Awards may be granted to foods, products, individuals, organizations, rescues, educational resources, or other entities deemed worthy by the Council.

All awards are subject to review by the Executive Bird Council and may be amended, revoked, upgraded, or celebrated with excessive enthusiasm as circumstances warrant.

Official Council Position

Awards are intended to celebrate excellence, encourage learning, promote bird welfare, and recognize those working to improve the lives of birds.

Recognition should be meaningful.

Standards should be maintained.

Pomegranates should be available whenever possible.
